About The Event:
Camp Howze MVPA Presents:
In Conjunction with the MVPA Jefferson Highway Convoy 2024
A USO Show and Fundraiser to support the Camp Howze MVPA Veterans Program and to celebrate with the convoy participants of their arrival to Gainesville Texas. We have a packed weekend for the convoy and the public to enjoy.
Friday October 18th 2024
By 5:00pm -
Convoy arrives (Time TBD, by 5:00pm) in Gainesville Texas and makes way to the Cooke County Fairgrounds to be received with a welcome dinner.
6:30 pm -
Exclusive Showing of "The Girl Who Wore Freedom" with the producer Christian Taylor from Chicago in house to have behind the scenes, Q&A and More!
Tickets will be $5 per person and available at the door or purchased with bundle add on "MOVIE"
Saturday October 19th 2024
8:00am Pancake Breakfast -
Join the convoy with Camp Howze MVPA's Quarterly Pancake Breakfast and interact with the vehicle and participant before they head out for the day. Tickets will be $5 per person and available at the door or purchased with bundle add on "Pancake"
7:00pm USO Show and Fundraiser -
Join us this evening for a great entertaining night of Music, Food, Guest Speakers, Area Museums Exhibitors, Silent Auction, Door Prizes and More!
The evening will include:
3-course Meal • Live Swing Music provided by the Gainesville Swing Orchestra • Guest Speaker Shilo Harris from Team Never Quit Foundation • Silent Auction & Raffles • Vintage Restored Military Vehicle Displays • VIP Lounge • Merchandise, and more!
Many Area Museums will be onsite with an Exhibitor Booth to share history and educate more on their individual collections!

VIP Admission - $75 - Includes everything in General Admission Plus - Early Event Access (6pm), Access to VIP Lounge, Grazing Food and Wine, Signed Book, Access to Speaker in VIP Lounge
Add-on Sponsor a Veteran - $25 - By adding this to your ticket purchase we will be able to cover a cost of one of our Veterans to the event. This is a great way to pay it forward to one who has served us!
Add-on MOVIE - $5 - By adding this to your ticket purchase you will get access to the Friday Night (Oct 18th, 6:30pm) Special Screening of "The Girl Who Wore Freedom" with special guest Christian Taylor, Producer giving you insights and Q&A Session!
Add-on Pancake - $5 - By adding this to your ticket purchase you will enjoy a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday Morning (Oct 19th 8-10am) and interact with Convoy Participants before they head out for the day!
